Disturbing footage has captured the moment a brawl erupted with a man allegedly punched before dropping to his knees.
The 34-year-old man had just left the pub when he was attacked on Station Road in Auburn, western Sydney, on Friday night.
Police said the 34-year-old had kicked a white Holden Commodore before the driver stepped out and confronted the man.

CCTV footage showed several officers huddled around the man after he collapsed on the pavement
Footage shows the 34-year-old speaking to a man before he picks up an orange bread crate resting on the ground nearby.
He is then rushed by another man before he is dropped to the ground.
Several officers are seen huddling around the man after he collapsed on the pavement.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and was taken to Westmead Hospital.
The driver of the Holden Commodore then left the scene in their vehicle.
Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the man in the footage to come forward.
