La telenovela que la lanzó a la fama mundial en 2004 conservó su nombre real, aunque con un guiño al cuento de La Cenicienta.
Así nació Floricienta, producción argentina protagonizada por la actriz Florencia Bertotti y producida por Cris Morena, y que al igual que otros de sus dramatizados —Chiquititas, Rebelde Way— enloquecieron a toda una generación de jóvenes.
Gracias a Floricienta, el inicio del milenio gozó de una gran fe en las haditas, en las canciones que sanan corazones rotos y, por supuesto, en los príncipes (aunque tarden en llegar).
La segunda temporada de la telenovela, que se transmitió en 2005, fue igual de exitosa y trajo nuevos temas que invitaban a soñar en la amistad, el amor verdadero y a buscar la felicidad, pese a los obstáculos.
Al año siguiente, el 23 y 24 de mayo del 2006, la protagonista enamoró por primera vez al público ecuatoriano cuando llegó con su gira a Quito y a Guayaquil.
Y, finalmente, la noche del viernes 17 de noviembre será el turno de sus fanáticos guayaquileños de reencontrarse con la intérprete de Flores amarillas.
¿Dónde ha estado todos estos años Florencia Bertotti?
Recogimos algunos datos clave sobre la carismática artista:
- Florencia tiene hoy 40 años y nació en Buenos Aires.
- Se ha casado dos veces. La primera con Guido Kaczka (Verano del 98) y con quien tiene un hijo, Romeo, quien nació en 2008. Dos años después pusieron fin a su matrimonio.
- Sus segundas nupcias llegaron con el actor Federico Amador (Niní), con quien comenzó a salir a finales del 2010.
- Además de ser cantante y compositora, Florencia también es diseñadora de moda infantil y en 2008 lanzó su marca Pancha Buenos Aires by Florencia Bertotti.
- Actualmente es también embajadora de la marca de ropa argentina PORTSAID.
- En 2010 tuvo una batalla legal con Cris Morena, quien la acusaba de plagio del argumento de Floricienta para Niní. El fallo favoreció a Morena.
- En 2012 actuó en La dueña, seguida de Guapas (entre 2014 y 2015). En 2016 fue parte del elenco de Silencios de familia.
