  • Thomas Reuther on February 2, 2022

Yeah but the Chinese eat with 2 sticks and couldn't even invent and come up
    with a fork and spoon.

  • G53X0Y0Z0 on February 2, 2022

China stopped inventing things long ago and now they just copy other people and counterfeit products. China's most notable inventions were to kill and maim people, maybe they even stole those inventions.

What are the two other common chemicals used in making gun powder? Seems stupid to go into so much detail about everything else but omit that little detail

Amazing. Yet all these tech advances, could not stop Genghis Khan & his army, armed with bows made of deer horns. Of course no one, could stop his army. The Japanese seem to have been one of the few Far Eastern nations, to miss his invasion. Apparently due to the fact, he had no navy. Still an interesting video.

They are not one of the oldest ancient histories. They are one of the current ancient histories. India's history is older.

So how did they get gasoline or kerosene before the 1800s? Like did the Chinese learn to distill crude oil??

  • larry rodgers on February 3, 2022

Not worth a thumbs up. China warred with itself for centuries. They have always been unstable, because of the massive regions China covers. Even inventing gun powder, their claim to fame is fireworks, they never developed a practical use for it. As for swords, the Japanese made and still make superior swords. If they are so innovative, why must they copy goods from every other culture; and they do a poor job of that most of the time.
