SkyFOX captures the bizarre moments where a man who led police on a chase across Los Angeles County tries to back into one of the cop cars.
FOX 11’s chopper was initially over the scene near downtown Los Angeles as the suspect led the California Highway Patrol on a chase on the 110 Freeway.
The suspect was placed in custody after a very brief struggle. He was initially wanted for refusing to pull over and for driving without a license plate. It is unknown if he was wanted for other crimes.

Losing sight of the vehicle is usually not a problem unless there's no bird in the sky. Distance maintained is decided upon certain factors. Not having a license plate is extremely unique and def more suss.

Definitely a fellow PO who was having a bad day or his wife left him and took the nice car and home and he was left with this junker. He was also carrying a handgun and at one stage he leaned forward and grabbed it and placed in his top front pants. Later he took it out again. He was on cell phone the entire time to 911 and negotiators and of course they knew him and he got patched through to the Chief who was talking him down…. GREAT outcome.

This is slowest chase I’ve ever seen of you hot over 4 cops chasing you and your not stopping why go 35 to 40 mph when he could’ve been going over a 100 to actually try to get away taking back roads or turns but he just goes straight at 40 mph makes no sense easiest chase I’ve seen and boring

Never in my life if I ran from the police. Anyone with a single tiny hint of common Sense no damn good and well if you try to evade them or try to duck and Dodge them 9 out of 10 you're going to start causing yourself 10x the damages,fines, community service etc. Plus you put countless other people around you in harm's way as well as you consciously show law enforcement that you have no regard for anyone else other than what you have going on or why you are acting in the way you are acting rather than the overview of what seems to be the problem am I doing something wrong that I'm unaware of that I need to be educated on so I can correct my behavior or my actions…..Benn trying to learn some of the above within the past 3-4 months. Due to my Autism I'm having a bit of difficulty communicating efficently with others without going through ranges of different feelings because I am unable to learn in the ways most individuals do. Thankfully I'm contacting my health insurance provider tomorrow to request a helper be assigned to myself temporarily to ease my inability to communicate properly to schedule the appropriate Dr. Appointments including making the calls required to secure transportation.
