Join Post reporters for live results and analysis as voters across the U.S. head to the polls in the 2022 midterm elections. A new balance of power could be determined in Congress — Republicans need to flip just five Democratic seats to retake the House majority. Democratic control of the Senate is even more precarious; Republicans need only one seat to take back control for at least the next two years.
Here are some of the key races we are following:
The Senate race in Pennsylvania: Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D) faces TV host Mehmet Oz (R) for the seat left vacant by retiring Sen. Patrick J. Toomey (R).
The Senate race in Georgia: Sen. Raphael G. Warnock (D) is fighting to keep his seat from former NFL running back Herschel Walker (R).
The governor’s race in Arizona: Former TV news anchor and avid Trump supporter Kari Lake (R) is challenging Katie Hobbs (D), Arizona’s secretary of state.
The Post’s Libby Casey will anchor live coverage and be joined by reporters Rhonda Colvin, Roz Helderman, Amy Gardener, Dan Balz, Paul Kane, Marianna Sototmayor and Tyler Pager. Read more: https://wapo.st/3Tqebgu. Subscribe to The Washington Post on YouTube: https://wapo.st/2QOdcqK
