The lavish lifestyle of former Real Housewife of Atlanta Kim Zolciak-Biermann may be in its final chapter as she and husband Kroy Biermann filed for divorce earlier this week amid a possible foreclosure on their Georgia home and over $1million owed in back-taxes.
In February of 2023, it was confirmed that the Bravo star’s Georgia mansion – where her husband of more than a decade has reportedly not lived for months – was in foreclosure, though a recent foreclosure auction was canceled.
Despite obvious and seemingly large financial issues plaguing Zolciak, 44, she and her family – including her two eldest daughters – have continued advertising their lives of luxury even as the walls closed in.
DailyMail.com takes a look at the extravagant life of Kim Zolciak and her clan, including a luxury car collection, decked out mansion, expensive jewelry, trips, designer bags and clothes.

Kim Zolciak first became a public figure in 2008, when Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta premiered. Zolciak was an original member of the cast and was later awarded her own spin-off series by the network, which ran for eight seasons.
Notably, at the time of the first show’s premiere, Zolciak was dating a married man, whom she identified on the show solely as ‘Big Poppa.’ It appeared to be the case that he was bankrolling Zolciak’s costly lifestyle, which included providing for her two daughters – Brielle and Arianna.
She ultimately split from Big Poppa after he gave her a large engagement ring, when she discovered he was not divorced.
After the split, Kim, who identifies as bisexual, dated DJ Tracy Young for a bit.
Zolciak, who has also released several singles over the years – including ‘Don’t Be Tardy to the Party’ – met her future husband then-Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann, 37, at a local celebrity charity event in 2010.
Zolciak and Biermann documented the preparation and planning process of their nuptials in Bravo’s ‘Don’t Be Tardy to the Wedding,’ a precursor for the family’s future reality show.
The high maintenance blonde famously wore not one, but three different wedding dresses to the $1million event. One of the gowns cost $58,000 and weighed 32 pounds. She later changed into a mermaid style gown, which was purchased for $18,000. And her final look was a $16,000 white jumpsuit.
Biermann legally adopted Zolciak’s two daughters, and the couple also have four more children of their own together.
To the shock and surprise of her fans and followers, it was reported on May 8, 2023 that Zolciak filed for divorce from Biermann after eleven years of marriage. Prior to the filing, it was revealed that the couple owe $1.1million in unpaid taxes to the state of Georgia and US federal government.
A source close to the family told People Magazine that ‘the money has been a huge issue’ and the ‘million-dollar tax [payment] was just way too much pressure on them.’
The pair are reportedly not on cordial terms.

Throughout her time documenting her life on reality television, Zolciak’s $2.6million Alpharetta, Georgia mansion has figured prominently into her image.
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann once considered themselves the ‘king and queen’ of their five-bedroom Georgia mansion, which boasted a large ‘staff,’ Versace tableware and even a bling ‘Hollywood’ room.
The Don’t Be Tardy stars initially bought the home back in 2012 for $880,000, and it is currently priced between $2.5 and $2.6 million, according to TMZ.
The 6,900 square foot home also contains a swimming pool with a hot tub, a waterfall spa, a basketball court, and a built-in elevator.
In February, it was reported that Zolciak and Biermann had defaulted on a $1.65million loan, according to a notice issued by Fulton County, and that the property would be entering foreclosure.
While those rumors were swirling, Zolciak continued to show off to her 3.4million Instagram followers what life inside her enormous family home looked like.
Shortly after the foreclosure report leaked, Zolciak gave her followers a tour of a gaming room in her house that had been decorated with neon colors, and was stocked with arcade and table games from the 90s.
The tour also included the home’s movie theater room and several rooms that were filled to the brim exclusively with clothes, shoes and bags.
Since the foreclosure was first reported, Zolciak has claimed repeatedly that the situation was a ‘misunderstanding’ with a bank that has now been resolved.
In November of last year, Zolciak posted a video to her Instagram stories, in which she denied the foreclosure auction of her home.
‘Ok you guys, my house has not sold for $257,000. If you guys think I would let my home that we’ve put millions and millions of dollars into go for $257,000, you’re an idiot, okay? For real,’ she said.
Zolciak has long-loved an expensive automobile. Over the years she has frequently showed off her car collection to her followers, often flashing an image of her long and polished nails over the steering wheel of a new car.
The Zolciak-Biermann household, throughout the multiple seasons of their various reality shows, was always shown with a driveway through of luxury vehicles.
Though it is unclear exactly what sorts of and how many cars Kim and Kroy, respectively, still own, they’ve each been pictured in the past in upscale lifts.
Kim has shown herself driving a Mercedes G-Class, which has a starting price of $139,900, and that’s on the lower end of her collection. She’s also driven a Bentley GT convertible (usually priced around $240,000 if bought new), and a Rolls Royce Cullinan, which has a starting price well into the $300,000-range.
Prior to the divorce announcement, Kim and Kroy often posed in front of their expensive vehicle collection on their way to date nights.
Several years back, Kim’s eldest daughter, Brielle, traded in her jeep for a black Range Rover – the it car of the moment.
