Not having the money to send humans back to the moon is a lame excuse. The US spends way too much on our military budget. If having a military base was a thing that the US wanted, it would be done. There's is no reason for the US to spend as much on the military as it does. The black budget gets about 7-9% of the defense budget. Last year that budget was $1.64 trillion. The government just lost another $2 trillion. That money could be used to send back to the moon and beyond. Former Lockheed Skunkworks Director Ben Rich, the "father of stealth" said, "We have the technology to take ET home." President Ronald Reagan also said that the space shuttle could hold up to 200 people. I think the max is 8. Anti-gravity, we have it. Black budget!
