Here’s what happened: The school negligently missed the deadline to give the awards and is now trying to hide behind the skirts of DEI. It is not working, of course. The question is, who dropped the ball? Which administrator needs to be canned?
Back in the 90s I visited this school, and was very impressed with the caliber of students there. It was known as a place where high IQ students went to do serious study.
Knew it no winners no losers everyone gets a trophy it's so ignorant and they keep on doing it, it sickens me to be forced to watch America die 🙁
Idiots! The administrators of that school should all be fired! A person's achievements are a part of their individuality. Equality of opportunity can become a reality. Equity is a myth that only fools chase.

Time to homeschool your kids, folks.
No appreciation for the student who studied and got good grades vs a student who didn’t study and got lower grades? Then why have school or textbooks at all. Give everyone the same grade. This is wrong. The student who studies and gets good grades should receive recognition for his accomplishments.
