WEBFI-TECH-BREAKING! Tesla Must Scrap Giga Berlin’s 125 Million Worth of Cars and Prove

Tesla is making a very expensive test at Giga Berlin and must scrap Giga Berln’s 125 million worth of cars and provide proof.

Tesla is allowed to produce 2,000 electric cars on a trial basis in its plant near Berlin. But never sell.

In the next few weeks, Brandenburg’s State Environment Agency wants to approve the start of the Tesla Giga Berlin factory. “We are in the last few meters,” said Minister of Economics Jörg Steinbach (65, SPD) on Wednesday. But the automaker doesn’t want to wait that long.

Tesla applied for the construction of 2,000 bodies in advance. Because the quality of the first test copies was “poor”.

The office gave the approval. With a catch: “The parts and bodies produced during the system test may not be used as sales goods.”

In other words: at a sales price of 63,000 euros per Tesla “Model Y”, 125 million euros have to be thrown away! The environmental agency even requires proof of disposal.

I'd think the cars could be used for warranty parts.

  • Michael Helmreich on January 14, 2022

    How is that environmentally sound?

  • Roger Boone on January 14, 2022

Under no circumstances will those cars be scrapped!!!! I am a stock holder and those idiots in Germany can go to hell!!!!!

  • Paul Hill on January 14, 2022

Can someone explain why the cars built during the testing period must be scrapped? If Tesla checked each car and any one of them did not come up to their standards, I could understand that it would be disassembled of scrapped. However, how would the German government determine which cars did not meet Tesla's standards or any other legal standard? This whole process is just a bureaucratic driven disaster. No rational company would consider building in Germany after this display of bureaucratic .

If these are trashed, it would be one of the dumbest crimes against natural resource conservation ever devised.

I had no idea that Germany had become such a Fascist state. Only in Fascist states does the government tell a private company what to do with their property. I guess this is the future for mankind since China and the U.S. have already made the transition to Fascism. Thank you W.E.F and Satan Klaus. Soon we will all be slaves in the new Fascist world order.

Tesla shouldn’t build a factory in Germany. A big mistake.

  • Myron P on January 15, 2022

They could use them in crash tests or use in the factory site. They can be sent to the retail centers. These cars belong to Tesla belong to Tesla and not the govrnment

  • Apollo 14 on January 15, 2022

Why Elon ever picked Germany to build the factory is beyond my understanding. Just like building one in California. Texas good idea. Some other places, mainly in the south would be good too.
