Summary of this Tutorial:

The first method is to use a plugin and we’ll begin by installing and activating the Paypal donations plugin.

Go to Settings, Paypal donations to configure.

Make sure you fill all this out especially your paypal email and all the other settings.

When finished, save your changes.

Now you can add the shortcode to any post or page where you want the donation button to go.

If you want to add it to a widget, go to Appearance, Widgets and add the Paypal donations widget to the sidebar and save.

The next method is by manually adding the Paypal button in WordPress.

Go to your Paypal account, go to tools, and click Paypal buttons.

Create a new button, fill out the information for it.

You’ll see website or email tab if you choose the email code, you can customize it a bit more so I’ll copy that.

In the text editor of a page or post you want to add the button paste the code.

We can update the post and now we have a button on our site.

Hi, you brushed on adding PayPal as a widget, could you explain in more detail how to do that please, I'm on WordPress and I get hosting and everything else from WordPress; so I'm not self hosting which means I can't use plugins so it'll be great if i could add PayPal donate as a widget. Thanks

A very succinct video; but the text overlay is very distracting. Is that all there really is to it – select the paypal plugin, and add it to any page on site? If so, you're better than anyone else making this type of video. Thanks for the info. Cheers.
