Start by installing and activating the Front End PM plugin.

Then go to Front End PM, Instructions to set it up.

You will want to have a page to place the shortcode and then in the settings you can leave it as default for now.

You can change the read to write or edit so only authors or editors can private message.

    How can recipients/members receive the message? They don't have a dashboard or some sort. Currently, it's only showing a long red line with message at the top of a page
