Using strong passwords is one way to help ensure the safety of your site. Sometimes a user loses their password and an admin needs to change it to something new. In this video, we will show you how to add a simple user password generator in WordPress.

Start by installing and activating the Simple User Password Generator plugin.

Under each user’s profile there will be a new section under Password.

You can press the “Generate Password” button to create a new password for the user you are viewing.

The user can be emailed the new password using the checkbox in the password section.

Should you want the user to change the password you can enable the warning that the user is using a generated password.

    Can we have a structured password that we'll want for our users?
    What I meant is that I would like to have users password to be generated based on a dedicated pw structure that the Admin assigned.
    example : 4 letters + 4 digits + ( only this %, @, $, #, &)
