Donald Trump‘s call for his supporters to protest his potential indictment this week is not deterring Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who said such intimidation tactics won’t be tolerated.
Bragg released a memo to his office staff assuring them of their safety, without using Trump’s name but mentioning an ‘ongoing investigation by this office.’
It comes after reports emerged that Trump could be indicted as early as this week in the case involving a hush-money payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels before he ran for president.
‘Please know that your safety is our top priority,’ Bragg said in the memo first reported by Politico.
‘We do not tolerate attempts to intimidate our office or threaten the rule of law in New York,’ he added.
