Missy Elliott

Missy Elliott is a singer, songwriter, and record producer who started her career in the mid-1990s with R&B girl group Sista. Before launching her solo career, she mostly collaborated and made guest appearances but quickly took the spotlight by storm. She is the best-selling female rapper in Nielsen history and was the first female rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Lady A (formerly Lady Antebellum) is a country group from Nashville. Thundercat is a prolific bassist who also performed with the band Suicidal Tendencies. He soon released his solo albums while venturing into singing, producing, and songwriting. He’s collaborated with artists such as Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar. Thundercat recently joined the Gorillaz for their performance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio. His 2020 album, “It Is What It Is,” won Best Progressive R&B Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards and featured musical contributions from Ty Dolla $ign, Childish Gambino, Kamasi Washington and more.
